Lash Treatments Reviews
"I have been going to Nuveau Plastic Surgery forever and if i could give them 6 stars I would. Dr Lee is super qualified and his credentials are stellar. He graduated from Baylor, was asked to teach and worked in South Korea /Asia where customers are super demanding and its so hyper competitive (plastic surgery capital of the world). He also volunteers to help children in need by fixing their cleft lip/palate as part of doctors without border type program. Randy Rakes is amazing. His background in medspa practice and his passion for bringing the latest technology to bear has helped the practice be leading in technologies and services to help me look my best. Halo, CoolSculpt, Ultherapy, Micro needling ...Joanne is the nurse practitioner in charge of botox, fillers and lasers and she is both medically trained but also has the artist's touch of using the menu of services to make sure you look beautiful, fresh and radiant and not overdone. She is amazing. Most importantly they are customer service oriented and lead with love and kindness. Run don't walk to make an appointment....Give them a chance to make this your best "looking" life."- H.L. / Google / Aug 24, 2020
We offer the following lash treatments on-site at our practice. In general, we will use these techniques and processes for each treatment:
Latisse: This is a prescription medication that you will apply topically to the base of your upper lashes once a day. It is an FDA-approved treatment that is able to increase and promote an active growth cycle for lashes that are inadequate. During your appointment, we will instruct you on how to properly use the treatment to get the maximum results. In general, you will want to clean the area and remove any makeup before application; removal of contacts is also recommended if applicable. Latisse is not for use of the lower lashes but upper only. We can discuss any side effects or reactions during your consultation.
Lash Tinting: Before treatment, we will discuss your goals and desired outcome. We will then clean the area and apply the tinting solution, which will be customized based on your desired shade. This is a short, outpatient procedure that usually lasts only a few minutes. There is no downtime associated with this treatment.
Lash Extensions: During this treatment, our team member will carefully discuss your options such as desired length, material, shape, and the number of extensions. Afterward, we will carefully apply each lash individually using an adhesive substance that will go on top of your current lashes. This procedure should not be painful, though you will need to keep your eyes open for extended periods and be comfortable with our staff member working closely around your eyes. This procedure can take up to two hours depending on how many extensions are being applied. Afterward, it is important to avoid contact with water, lotions, makeup, or any other outside substances that may cause the adhesive to break down and the lashes to fall out.
What to Expect
For Latisse treatments, you can expect to see some noticeable improvement after four weeks of consistent use. However, it will usually take 16 weeks to see your full, dramatic results. It is important to continually apply the topical solution to maintain your lash growth. If you stop usage, your lashes will gradually revert back to their original appearance.
For lash tinting and extensions, you will see your results right away. Tinting generally lasts around 3 – 4 weeks, while extensions can last between 6 – 8 weeks depending on your choice of lashes. You may need filler appointments in between this time period to replace any lashes that have fallen out.
Regardless of your treatment choice, you should be able to enjoy beautiful, fuller, and thicker lashes that enhance your overall appearance.
